The Lobster Boat by Colin Ruffell

This series of images show British fishing harbours with typical fisherman’s cottages and fishing boats. Harbours like these are found in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset in England and Fifeshire in Scotland. The style is semi-abstract illustrating the workflow sequence common to many of Colin Ruffell giclee prints. Initially Colin painted onto paper or canvas with acrylics. The image was photographed and scanned for Colin’s manipulation using digital painting techniques before final prints were taken from the digital file.
